Hello to those in the entertainment business, in reference to Philadelphia, PA, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland areas TAKE on the "Actors Club" audition sites...I am sure there are other areas as well...

Diane is correct about the Actors Club. I was charged money and NEVER got though to reply to any auditions!

I actually had to change my back card and get a new number, to prevent the Actors Club of taking any more of my funds. And I still receive their emails...which I only delete as spam!

She is right. I have had bad experiences with them. They mine information from other free sites and charge you for it. Most of the time the info is either old, incomplete,suspect or, they just do not have connections to the advert. I would never use them. About two years ago, I put an advert on Film.org for a movie I was writing, two days later Actor Club mined the info, put it on their site and sent out adverts as though it was theirs and they had the inside scoop. Little did they know it belonged to me. And they charged people for that.

I will stop sending Actors Club leads but I will continue to look over the leads they send me. Sometimes you can tell or find out who is casting the job and avoid getting burned by them.

Also want to ask the group if anyone has used and gotten any work from ActorsAccess or ExtrasAccess lately? E-mail me and let me know.

	Here is some recent info on TheActorsClub from Paul Weaver and Loren Schofield. I found one on craigslist and explicitly said in my response, "IF THIS IS ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE BLIND ADS FOR THE ACTORS CLUB, DON'T BOTHER TO RESPOND!!!!" I got the same response as you see below!
